Staff members of Redmond Funeral Homes are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.

Kyle Kutlik

Kyle Kutlik

Owner/Licensed Funeral Director

Kyle is a native of Munster, Indiana, and a graduate of Munster High School. He attended Ivy Tech Community College where he obtained his degree in Mortuary Science. His dream was to own his own funeral home, and is now the owner of three locations. He is an extensive collector of all things vintage, but vacuums are his specialty.  When Kyle isn’t at the funeral home, he’s home whipping up some culinary delight and often brings in leftovers to the staff. He’s currently working through Ina Garten’s cookbook. Kyle makes sure that his rescue dog Roann gets his daily walks rain or shine. Kyle has enjoyed the relationships he has built within the communities he serves through funeral service.

Chris Keyes

Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer

Chris was born in Kalamazoo and grew up in Decatur. He graduated from Decatur High School  and went on to earn a BBA from Michigan State University. Chris had a calling for funeral service and decided to earn his Bachelors Degree in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University. He wasn’t done there! He also obtained his MBA from Western Michigan University. Chris enjoys accounting, working in his yard and doing projects around his house. He is an avid reader and likes trying new restaurants, especially if they have homemade ingredients. Chris also has two rescue cats and likes to spend time with them. Funeral service has helped him fulfill his calling to help others.

Rhonda Cochran

Rhonda grew up in Otsego and moved to Kalamazoo to attend college at KVCC. She has two children, Jesika and Joshua, who were born on the same day 7 years apart! Rhonda worked in Trust Operations for 14 years at many different banks. She previously worked at Adams-Redmond Funeral Home from 2001 until 2011 as an office manager and family service coordinator. Rhonda worked as the house manager for eight years of a women’s transitional home before retiring in 2023. She enjoys reading, writing, swimming, spending time with her grandchildren, pasta and most sweets. Rhonda has been in recovery for 39 years from generational trauma and substance abuse. She is also a survivor of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and has been in remission since 2002. Rhonda currently lives with her husband, Brian and Australian Shepherd lab mix named Bear Bear. Rhonda is full of compassion and loves to provide guidance and reassurance to families at their most vulnerable time. 

Carrie Swieczkowski

Carrie works with our preneed families, marketing the business and thrives on working with people. Her previous background in Human Resources proves that. She grew up on the east side of the state, and graduated from WMU, but became one of those that just couldn’t leave west Michigan!  Carrie lives with her husband Win and her two spoiled pups, Frannie and Lucky.  In her free time, she spends time volunteering for the American Cancer Society Discovery Shop and has antique booths. She loves home decor and traveling.

Ryleigh was born and raised in Paw Paw and graduated from Paw Paw High School in 2023. She recently graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in an accelerated program. Ryleigh is also a certified firefighter in the State of Michigan and is a member of the Paw Paw Volunteer Fire Department. She loves music (especially Taylor Swift!), dancing, babysitting, french fries and hanging out with her dog, Tink. Her favorite part about working in funeral service is the connections she makes with the community and the families she serves.

Mary was born and raised in Kalamazoo and has been a devout Catholic and member of Saint Mary Catholic Church in Paw Paw for over 50 years. She worked as the Director of Music and Liturgy, Director of Confirmation and Youth Ministry, Director of Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Parish Secretary. She is also a member of the choir. Mary raised two daughters and has been blessed with five beautiful grandchildren. Working in the funeral service for Mary is a Ministry. It is an opportunity to serve people who are going through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face. Mary strives to be the most compassionate and caring in her work. 

Ron Douglas

Funeral Home Assistant

Ron Douglas was born and raised in Paw Paw. He joined the United States Army and served as the Communications Chief in the 94th Engineer Battalion. Ron has served his community on the Paw Paw Fire Department for over 60 years and is a past Chief of the department. He has worked at Adams for 27 years. Ron enjoys working on projects around his house and yard, going to the casino and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
