Guernsey, Vicki L. Age 71 of Kalamazoo

Passed away suddenly on April 12, 2025 in Grand Rapids, MI. Vicki was born on November 16, 1953 in Kalamazoo, MI the only child and daughter of the late Virgil and Beverly (Congdon) Heckman. Vicki was a Graduate of Portage Northern High School. She enjoyed sewing and worked for Hobby Lobby in their fabric department, retiring after 16 years of employment. Vicki loved camping where she spent many days at the Forest Hills campground in Saranac, MI, swimming in their pool as well as sitting around a campfire with her campground family and partner Gary Heintz, who survives. Vicki is also survived by her son, Michael (Amanda) Guernsey; five grandchildren: Ethan Antisdel, Alexis Antisdel, Oliver Guernsey, Alyssa Guernsey and Christian Keckler; six cousins: Dan Bryant, Rick Bryant, Kathy (Jim) Illes, Joni (Jeff) Cook, Steve (Annie) Norwood and Jim (Sharon) Norwood as well as many friends at the Forest Hills Campground. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life for Vicki will be held on May 3, 2025 at the Royal Estates Club House, 8300 Ravine Road, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 from 12:00 Noon until 2:30 PM.
