Thomas E. Dillon

On March 30, 2025, Thomas E. Dillon (52) was called home to be with the Lord after a short illness. Thomas, affectionately known as Tommy by family and friends, was born on July 29, 1972, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Tommy was a faithful and very loving member of our family; and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tommy was a 1992 graduate of Parchment High School. After graduation he moved to Mesa, Arizona for two years. From there he moved to White Bear Lake, Minnesota for two years before settling back in Kalamazoo. He was employed by Business Cards Plus for 26 years and dearly loved the owner and his co-workers.

Tommy loved to spend time pursuing his hobby of Photography using both cameras and drones. His favorite pictures are ones taken of nature and animals.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Brenda Followell; father, Thomas A. Dillon (Karen); sister, Tammy Lamons (Dave); niece, Erica (Nick) Heuring and nephew, Jake Lamons. Tommy always said he was fortunate to have acquired the love of two fathers. Tommy was preceded in death by his second father, Ronald Followell.

A special thank you to the staff at both Ascension Borgess and Centrica Rose Arbor Hospice for the thoughtful care they gave Tommy. Cremation has taken place by Parchment Redmond Funeral Home and a private burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery in Comstock, Michigan at a later date.
