Passed away on March 28, 2025 at the Village of Heather Hills in Grand Rapids, MI. Robert was born on January 8, 1929 in Ingram, WI the son of Frederick and Florence (Knowles) Peterson. He was a Veteran having served in the US Army during the Korean War. Robert enjoyed woodworking and building model railroads. He was artistic and dedicated his time renovating antiques. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Florence Peterson, his wife, Barbara (Merrell) Peterson; four sisters: Shirley DeMay, Ruth Schneidewent, Joyce Wooldridge and Irene Sernek. He is survived by two children: Timothy (Cheryl) Peterson and Crystal (Brian) Fenrich; four grandchildren: Andrea (Aaron) McLaughlin, Sarah (Evelyn Bradt) Peterson, Christopher (Hannah) Fenrich and Brittany (Connor) Anteau; four great grandchildren: Adaline, Ruby, Gideon and Elliette and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at
