**SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT** A Memorial Mass is scheduled for Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 939 Charlotte Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49048. A luncheon will be held in the Parish Hall immediately following the Memorial Mass.

Frank Caro, 93, of Kalamazoo, passed away on January 26, 2025 at Kairos Dwelling. Frank was born on May 3, 1931 in Kalamazoo, MI the son of Dominic & Anna (Sanfilippo) Caro. Frank was a Veteran having served in the Navy and the Army. He was a teacher at Hackett Prep High School for 30 Years. Frank was a man of integrity, loyalty and commitment. He was dedicated to his marriage, his family and his faith. Frank is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and a niece, Diane Walters. He is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughter, Anna (Jeffrey Spinola), numerous nieces and nephews and a special brother-in-law (who you could definitely count on him to show up for duty in times of trouble) A. J. (Sue) Crookston. According to Frank’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Mass will be announced and will be held later in the spring. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the caregiving staff at Kairos Dwelling and Compassus Visiting Nurses and Hospice for their dedication and compassion that Frank received while in their care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Kairos Dwelling or St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Kalamazoo.
